Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Edgecraft, including our website, platform, tools, strategy testing features, AI-assisted analysis, reports, integrations, and any related services we provide.

Please read these Terms carefully before using Edgecraft. By accessing or using Edgecraft, creating an account, joining our waitlist, connecting an integration, or using any part of the service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use Edgecraft.

1. Who we are

In these Terms, "Edgecraft", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Edgecraft. "You" and "your" refer to the person or organisation accessing or using Edgecraft.

2. What Edgecraft does

Edgecraft is a strategy intelligence platform for active crypto traders. It helps users build, test, validate, optimise, understand, monitor, and refine trading strategies using realistic backtesting, data analysis, AI-assisted workflows, performance insights, and related tools.

Edgecraft is designed to help users better understand strategy behaviour, market assumptions, execution frictions, risk, robustness, and potential strategy decay. It does not guarantee that any strategy will be profitable, suitable, safe, or successful in live market conditions.

3. Edgecraft is not financial advice

Edgecraft does not provide financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, tax advice, legal advice, or any other regulated advice.

Any strategy, backtest, optimisation, report, score, alert, AI-generated output, analysis, explanation, or other information provided through Edgecraft is for information, research, testing, and decision-support purposes only.

You remain fully responsible for your own trading decisions. You should not treat any output from Edgecraft as a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, open, close, size, leverage, copy, automate, or otherwise trade any cryptoasset, token, derivative, financial instrument, or strategy.

You should consider your own knowledge, objectives, financial situation, risk tolerance, and legal obligations before making any trading decision. Where appropriate, you should seek advice from an authorised financial adviser or other qualified professional.

4. Crypto trading is high risk

Cryptoassets, derivatives, perpetual futures, leveraged products, DeFi positions, automated strategies, and algorithmic trading are high risk.

You may lose some or all of the capital you trade. Losses can happen quickly, especially when using leverage, margin, illiquid assets, volatile markets, automated execution, or strategies that perform differently in live conditions than they did in testing.

Past performance, simulated performance, backtested performance, optimised performance, paper trading performance, or AI-generated analysis is not a reliable indicator of future results.

Backtests and simulations are based on assumptions and historical data. They may not reflect live execution, liquidity, fees, funding, slippage, latency, spreads, partial fills, liquidation risk, outages, exchange rules, API failures, market manipulation, unexpected volatility, or changing market regimes.

5. No guarantees

Edgecraft does not guarantee:

  • that any strategy will make money;
  • that any strategy will avoid losses;
  • that any strategy will continue to work over time;
  • that any backtest, simulation, optimisation, or report will be accurate, complete, or predictive;
  • that AI-generated outputs will be correct, complete, suitable, or free from error;
  • that live execution will match backtested or simulated results;
  • that integrations, exchange APIs, data feeds, or third-party services will be available, accurate, or uninterrupted.

You use Edgecraft at your own risk.

6. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms to use Edgecraft.

You must not use Edgecraft if doing so would breach any law, regulation, court order, sanctions restriction, exchange rule, platform rule, or contractual obligation that applies to you.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Edgecraft is lawful in your country or region.

7. Accounts and security

You may need to create an account to access some parts of Edgecraft.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating or using your account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account.

You must tell us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised or used without permission.

We may suspend or restrict access to your account if we reasonably believe there has been unauthorised access, misuse, fraud, security risk, breach of these Terms, or unlawful activity.

8. Connected accounts, APIs, and exchange integrations

Edgecraft may allow you to connect third-party accounts, exchanges, wallets, APIs, brokers, data providers, or execution venues.

You are responsible for the permissions you grant to any integration. You should only connect accounts or API keys where you understand the access being granted.

Where possible, you should use the minimum permissions required for the relevant feature. For example, read-only access may be suitable for analysis features, while trading permissions may be required for live execution features.

You are responsible for reviewing, configuring, limiting, rotating, and revoking API keys and other integration credentials.

Edgecraft is not responsible for losses, failed trades, incorrect trades, missed trades, rejected orders, exchange outages, API failures, wallet issues, liquidation events, data delays, third-party errors, or unauthorised activity caused by third-party services, compromised credentials, user configuration, or market conditions.

9. Live execution and user control

If Edgecraft provides features that support live execution, routing, automation, alerts, order creation, or exchange connectivity, you remain responsible for reviewing and approving how those features are configured and used.

Unless we expressly state otherwise in writing, Edgecraft does not take custody of your funds, hold assets on your behalf, operate as your broker, act as your exchange, manage your portfolio, or exercise discretionary trading authority over your account.

You are responsible for all orders, trades, positions, losses, profits, fees, funding payments, tax consequences, and other outcomes arising from your use of live execution or connected services.

10. AI-assisted outputs

Edgecraft may use AI systems to help generate, explain, compare, summarise, investigate, or refine strategies and performance insights.

AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, outdated, or unsuitable for your circumstances. You must independently review and verify AI outputs before relying on them.

You must not use AI outputs as a substitute for your own judgement, professional advice, or risk management.

You are responsible for any strategy, parameter, rule, prompt, instruction, configuration, or decision you create, accept, modify, deploy, automate, or trade using Edgecraft.

11. Strategy content and user inputs

You may submit prompts, trading ideas, strategy rules, scripts, parameters, data, exchange information, account information, notes, reports, feedback, or other content to Edgecraft.

You confirm that you have the right to provide that content and that it does not breach any law, third-party rights, confidentiality obligation, platform rule, exchange rule, or these Terms.

You retain ownership of your own content. However, you grant Edgecraft a licence to use, host, process, analyse, transmit, display, and store your content as needed to provide, secure, improve, and support the service.

We will handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Confidentiality of strategy information

We understand that trading strategies, parameters, performance data, and related analysis may be commercially or personally sensitive.

We will not intentionally disclose your private strategy content to other users, except where needed to provide the service, comply with law, investigate misuse, protect the platform, support integrations, or as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for deciding what information you submit to Edgecraft and for removing sensitive information that you do not want processed through the service.

13. Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, ideas, feature requests, comments, bug reports, or other input about Edgecraft, we may use it without restriction or obligation to compensate you.

You agree that feedback does not create any ownership right, confidentiality obligation, or payment obligation unless we separately agree this in writing.

14. Acceptable use

You must not use Edgecraft to:

  • break any law or regulation;
  • violate sanctions, anti-money laundering, market abuse, fraud, tax, securities, derivatives, consumer protection, or data protection laws;
  • manipulate markets or support unlawful trading activity;
  • access accounts, systems, data, or integrations without permission;
  • upload malware, harmful code, or malicious instructions;
  • reverse engineer, scrape, copy, overload, attack, or interfere with Edgecraft;
  • attempt to bypass security, rate limits, usage limits, or access controls;
  • resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Edgecraft without permission;
  • submit content that is unlawful, harmful, misleading, infringing, abusive, or deceptive;
  • use Edgecraft to develop a competing product using confidential or non-public platform information.

15. Subscriptions, payments, and billing

Some features may require a paid subscription or usage-based payment.

Prices, billing periods, feature limits, usage limits, renewal terms, and cancellation options will be shown at the point of purchase or within your account.

Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You are responsible for cancelling before the renewal date if you do not want to continue.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated by us.

We may change prices, plans, features, or billing terms from time to time. Where required, we will give you reasonable notice of material changes.

16. Free trials, beta access, and waitlist access

We may offer free trials, early access, beta features, waitlist invitations, experimental tools, or limited releases.

Beta and early access features may be incomplete, unstable, unavailable, inaccurate, or changed without notice. We may modify, pause, limit, or remove them at any time.

We do not guarantee that any beta feature will become generally available or remain available in its current form.

17. Affiliate, referral, and revenue-share disclosures

Edgecraft may receive fees, commissions, referral payments, affiliate revenue, volume-share payments, or other compensation from third-party platforms, exchanges, data providers, execution venues, or partners.

This may include compensation linked to users signing up, connecting accounts, trading, executing volume, or using third-party services through Edgecraft.

We will aim to disclose material commercial relationships where they may reasonably affect how users understand our service.

Receiving compensation does not mean that a third-party service is suitable for you or that you should use it. You are responsible for reviewing the risks, fees, terms, permissions, and regulatory status of any third-party service.

18. Third-party services

Edgecraft may link to, integrate with, or rely on third-party services, including exchanges, wallets, analytics providers, data providers, payment processors, infrastructure providers, AI providers, communication tools, and partner platforms.

Third-party services are not controlled by Edgecraft. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, security, terms, fees, decisions, failures, content, or actions.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.

19. Intellectual property

Edgecraft and its platform, software, design, interface, models, workflows, analysis templates, reports, documentation, branding, logos, content, and other materials are owned by Edgecraft or its licensors.

You must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Edgecraft except as allowed by law or expressly permitted by us in writing.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use Edgecraft for your own lawful personal or internal business use.

20. Data, analytics, and service improvement

We may collect and use technical, usage, performance, diagnostic, and aggregated data to operate, secure, analyse, and improve Edgecraft.

Where this data includes personal data, we process it in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, product development, benchmarking, research, security, and business purposes, provided it does not identify you.

21. Availability and changes to the service

We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee that Edgecraft will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, accurate, or error-free.

We may update, change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of Edgecraft at any time, including features, integrations, models, data sources, plans, pricing, and access levels.

We are not responsible for losses caused by downtime, maintenance, data delays, errors, interruptions, or service changes.

22. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to Edgecraft if:

  • you breach these Terms;
  • you create legal, security, regulatory, reputational, or operational risk for Edgecraft;
  • your use appears fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, or harmful;
  • we are required to do so by law, regulator, court order, partner, exchange, payment provider, or platform provider;
  • your subscription ends or payment fails.

You may stop using Edgecraft at any time and may close your account where account closure is available.

Some provisions of these Terms will continue after termination, including sections relating to risk, no advice, intellectual property, liability, confidentiality, payment obligations, and dispute resolution.

23. Disclaimers

Edgecraft is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, representations, and conditions, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, availability, security, and suitability for trading or investment purposes.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

24. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Edgecraft will not be liable for:

  • trading losses;
  • lost profits;
  • lost revenue;
  • lost opportunity;
  • lost data;
  • loss of goodwill;
  • loss of anticipated savings;
  • indirect, consequential, special, incidental, punitive, or exemplary damages;
  • losses caused by crypto market movements, third-party services, integrations, exchange failures, API issues, AI outputs, user configuration, or reliance on backtests or simulations.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for all claims relating to Edgecraft will not exceed the greater of:

  • the amount you paid to Edgecraft in the 3 months before the claim arose; or
  • £100.

25. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Edgecraft, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

  • your breach of these Terms;
  • your misuse of Edgecraft;
  • your trading activity;
  • your content, data, prompts, strategies, or configurations;
  • your use of third-party services or integrations;

26. Changes to these Terms

If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as by posting the updated Terms on our website, sending an email, or notifying you through the platform.

The updated Terms will apply from the date stated at the top of the page or from the date we notify you, unless otherwise stated.

If you continue using Edgecraft after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

27. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or Edgecraft, except where applicable consumer law gives you mandatory rights to bring claims elsewhere.
